Global Service Adventures, a brand operating as Smokey Manor Limited. Global Service Adventures is a family-owned and locally-operated organization in the country of Jamaica. We offer summer service programs in various parts of the island, such as community-led service programs, environmentally-based exploration, sports-related service projects, and also people-to-people projects for students ages 14-18.
By enrolling in our programs, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. There will be an agreement between us (Smokey Manor Limited) as well as your parents or legal guardian.
Global Service Adventures will offer chaperoned group flights for students originating from the United States to a designated airport. The price of chaperoned group flights will be added to your total tuition fee.
If someone wants to be more adventurous, we offer self-booking options as well.If you decide to do the self-booking option, you may still be required to pay an additional service fee of $100-300 depending on the additional staffing and transportation needs required to accommodate the individual flight path.
We do not include airfare in the tuition fee. In cases where GSA facilitates self-booking airline travel, GSA is not responsible for cancellations, delays, lost baggage, or any airline-related expenses.
Students originating from outside the United States should book their own airfare to meet up with the chaperoned group flights. For more information about flights, please refer to our flights and travel page.
We know you’re excited about this trip, but please make sure that your passport is up-to-date and has at least six months left before it expires. You may also need a visa if traveling to certain countries – check with your local consulate for more information on what documents are required. Global Service Adventures will not provide refunds to participants who have invalid or missing identification or documentation.
If you’re interested in enrolling in any of our programs, lock in your spot by paying a $600 deposit and an additional $95.00 non-refundable application fee.Your 600 deposit is fully refundable until February 15, 2023. If you enroll after February 15th, your deposit is non-refundable after 10 days.If you pay with a credit card, a 4% processing fee will be charged. This also applies to group flights or travel insurance.The most convenient and easiest way to pay is with a credit card.
For registrations before March 1st, we offer individual payment plans and can offer up to 3 equal monthly installments. Contact us to discuss options.

You can use your travel voucher from a previously canceled program to pay for the deposit or tuition balance. Travel vouchers aren’t transferable, so there is no cash refund with this option!
COVID-19 has made traveling at times unpredictable, and restrictions beyond our control are sometimes presented . If traveling isn’t possible because of COVID-19 restrictions the following terms apply:
To be eligible for the Global Service Adventures program, you must apply by making a $500 deposit and paying an application fee of $95. Your reservation is fully refundable 30 days after payment.

Global Service Adventures will not provide any refund if you miss your trip because of late arrival, early withdrawal, or dismissal with cause.
If you participate in a program with Global Service Adventures, the staff will be responsible for your safety and wellbeing. This means that you have to agree to follow a set of rules while you are on the trip. If you break the rules, you may be dismissed from the program. If this happens, you will not get any refund of the tuition fee back and will have to pay for extra costs like staff supervision, transportation, office time, and new flights.

We require all participants to purchase travel medical insurance while on our program and strongly recommend trip cancellation. We offer coverage through BatteFace, which provides great benefits like emergency assistance. The policy details are provided on our website here for anyone who wants more information. You also have the option to purchase additional or alternative coverage.
Global Service Adventures reserves the right to use any photos, videos, or testimonials from its trips in any manner it desires.
To ensure your safety, each participant must submit a completed Health History and Medical Report signed by a licensed doctor.
GSA does not cover the loss, damage, or theft of personal property and equipment such as phones or computers. Parents must check to ensure that these items are covered by their own insurance policy.
Each participant is required to sign our Acknowledgment And Assumption Of Risks; Release And Indemnity Agreement. These form part of the application process.
